The main focus of this research is to discuss the concept M. Umer Chapra's thought in world economics. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with library techniques (Library Research). results show that thoughts field economics have formulated many religious, traditional modern sciences. Among concepts thought, falah, hayyah thayyibah, and economic obstacles for Muslims are still interesting discussions be studied. From his theory Chapra puts forward moral intensity as most important thing taken into account. Because morality key life goals falah thayyibah. As well being able deliver fair Islamic economy socio-economic field, so it becomes means solving failure Socialist Capitalist economies.
